I obviously LOVE weddings and all things wedding related but I am absolutely obsessed with the Unplugged Ceremony trend right now! Wedding ceremonies are all about love. They are about the beauty of the couple and the love that they share and are vowing to share for the rest of their lives. No one wants to be standing on the altar expressing their vows just to look out at their family and friends and see nothing but cell phones and heads down already adding #Hashtags to pictures of your special day. You want to look out and see loving faces and smiles! Unplugged ceremonies help to keep the attention and focus on what is really important: love!

You also want to make sure that you have the best pictures from your photographer to remind you for years to come of your special day. I can’t tell you number of professional photos I have seen that would be the PERFECT shot but it’s interrupted by a phone or two sticking up in the shot. I don’t like sitting at a wedding and not being able to see because a guest somewhere in front of me is holding up their phone or camera trying to capture the moment. I know that you might be uncomfortable telling your guests to stay seated and keep their phones away but we love the idea of having a sign to gently tell/remind your guests to sit down, be present and leave the photo taking to the photographer. Here are a few ideas!
